Owing to the patented method of flow rate estimation and electronic results processing the unit has unsurpassed measuring accuracy.
Injectors are being tested in the following modes:

• leak detection;
• static mode flow test;
• idle mode flow test;
• medium rpm flow test;
• maximum rpm flow test;
• spray pattern control.

AIM measuring system detects and calculates the following parameters:

• difference of flow volumes of the set in each test mode;
• average absolute flow of the set in each test mode;
• absolute flow of each injector in every test mode.

All test results are displayed on the graphical LCD. AIM system shows test results as a bar chart for the flow difference (increment 1%), and as numeric values for the flow volume (increment 1cc/min).
The data is stored into the unit's memory. It allows comparing the test results before and after cleaning. If it is required to clean the injectors several times, the final test result is compared to the initial result.
AIM system facilitates to fit the set of injectors with minimal flow difference. This function may be used for engine tuning.
The measuring is totally automatic. An operator is involved in the process only at the leak detection and the spray pattern control modes. Neither the operator nor any other external factor may affect the result.

Owing to AIM system the measuring time is reduced significantly. The total measuring cycle for 8 injectors in set takes about 13 minutes. Further time saving is provided by the unique mounting system. It consists of universal adaptors and quick locking connectors and allows mounting a set of 8 injectors at less than 2 minutes! Providing this, the total time needed for servicing a set of 8 injectors (including mount/demount operations) is about 17-18 minutes.

The test results are printed out from the built-in printer and can be produced to the customer as a documentary proof of the quality of provided services, and as given grounds for injector replacement necessity.

The unit set includes 2 types of universal adaptors (European / Asian cars) for mounting any top feed injector. (Adaptors for mounting side feed injectors are available on request).

System of recycling and advanced measuring technology reduce fluid leakage and evaporation thus decreasing fluid consumption.

Integrated inerasable counter of tested sets allows checking the amount of provided services.

Well-developed safety system and self-testing system of the unit securely protect an operator. In case of any contingent occurrence the unit stops testing, relieves pressure and switches to the safe mode. The unit is equipped with the integrated surge voltage protection system based on the PowerGuard technology. The system secures the unit's electronics from damaging. PowerGuard effectively copes with short-time voltage jumps as well as a long term surge.
